Biography

I was born in Arlington, Texas, but soon after moved to McKinney, Texas, where
I would spend my adolescent years. At a young age I fell in love with sports,
and was active in baseball, basketball, and football as a kid.In addition, I began
scouts at a very young age as a tiger cub and stuck with it up through my 18th
birthday, eventually earning the honor of becoming an Eagle Scout.

Once in high school, I began to discover myself and was able to earn several
leadership roles throughout various organizations. Within Scouts I was a senior
patrol leader, and in charge of the whole troop. Senior year I also earned the
distinction of team captain on the high school bowling team after having been
a member all 4 years of my high school career. I earned several academic
achievements throughout high school as well including a gpa award for all four
years and a national reward for my scores on ap test.

My grades were enough to earn me an admission to the prestigious University
of Texas.  It took me a couple of years, but I eventually realized that my love
and knowledge of sports were what I intended to mainly focus on for my future.
As such I am currently a senior and dual majoring in Journalism and
Government, with the eventual goal to become a prominent sports writer
nation-wide.

During my time at The University of Texas I have also been lucky enough to
join an amazing fraternity in Theta Chi. Within the fraternity I have done several
large community service projects to benefit Austin, as well as held the
committee chair position of Alumni relations for a year. During my time as
chair, I helped coordinate several newsletter for the Alumni including writing a
couple of articles from interviews I had with various alumnus.

This past football season I also started up a Facebook group in which I wrote
various different styles of articles pertaining to the National Football League.
The link to the group is http://www.facebook.com/groups/428409183863477/.
I intend to continue to add more articles to this site and expand it to the NBA
or MLB seasons as well.
